ABOUT THE CLASS
Using traditional yoga poses in fun, dynamic and inventive ways children begin to challenge themselves, developing strength and body awareness (especially useful during growth spurts). Being mindful about the poses they learn how to control their movements encouraging better concentration and boosting confidence as they learn to hold poses for longer. while story telling and games encourages the imagination, taking them on magical journeys to far away lands. Integral to yoga, relaxation, mindfulness, and meditation techniques help to lower anxiety levels, leading to better sleep patterns and calmer emotional responses; the foundations for a calmer, happy and confident child as they grow and develop.
